1. Publisher’s commercial relationship
ALVAU MAGAZINE belongs to Alvau LLC and promotes the ALVAU marketplace, a business associated with its publisher. Promotion of ALVAU serves the publisher’s commercial interests. An ALVAU recommendation should not be read as an independent comparison merely because it appears in an editorial layout.
2. Advertisements and sponsored material
Advertising must be recognizable before a reader engages with it. Where content is paid for or controlled by an advertiser, use a clear nearby label such as “Advertisement” or “Sponsored content”, and identify the relevant sponsor. A general footer disclosure does not replace a material-specific disclosure.
3. Affiliate links and benefits
Where a link earns commission, disclose that fact near the relevant recommendation or link, for example “Affiliate link — ALVAU MAGAZINE may receive a commission”. Disclose gifts, hospitality or other benefits that materially affect a recommendation. These are labeling rules, not a statement that every link earns commission or that such arrangements exist.
4. Reviews and transparency
Commercial connections do not justify invented testing, fabricated customer reviews or altered results. Opinions must reflect their stated basis; see Editorial standards and corrections. Ownership disclosure does not establish data sharing between ALVAU MAGAZINE and ALVAU or make the publisher the seller in an external transaction. Report misleading labeling through Reporting and copyright complaints.
Advertising and PayPal payments
Advertising bookings and invoice payments are governed by the separately agreed Advertising Terms & Conditions. Payment does not purchase a favorable editorial opinion or approval of submitted content. Paid material must be clearly identified; paid links must use rel="sponsored" or another suitable permitted combination. The article invitation is the publisher’s invitation to enquire about advertising.
